My friend and I went to the show at the Whisky this weekend and had a terrific time, as always. Not only was the show great but Fred Coury was hanging out near our seats in the "rafters". He seemed to be enjoying the show just as much as everyone else. I have been a fan of Cinderella since I was in junior high, so it was a bonus to see him there.
I was just curious if anyone else had seen celebrities lurking in the crowd at other shows, just there to enjoy the Atomic Punks like everyone else.

This show was a lot of fun.
Ralph pointed out that Ray Luzier was in the crowd enjoying the show, which counts as a celebrity to me
Ralph even promoted the upcoming David Lee Roth album (expected to be released July 8th
  Good times!

This, perhaps, isn't as exciting as Fred and Ray, but Other "sightings" were: Maura Tierney, who plays Abby Lockhart on ER, was in the audience - she was actually there to see the band that played before the Punks, Loud, but stayed for the Punks.
Also, I don't know if anyone who attended the show knew/knows this, but the lead singer of Loud, who also stayed to enjoy the Punks, is a pretty famous voice-over artist. His name is Jess Harnell and he's the voice of Wakko from the popular Steven Spielberg cartoon Anamaniacs - as well as TONS of other cartoons and animated movies.

It's funny because it takes me a while to recognize "celebrities" sometimes. It took me a moment to recognize Fred Coury.
I remember seeing Alanis Morrisette once a few years ago. I totally didn't recognize her until my friend told me later that it was her. I thought she was just some weird girl at the gym.
Needless to say she had no make up on (but who does at the gym) so that might have made it more difficult for me to recognize her. Some people look totally different without their make up on
Sorry, that was a little off topic... [ April 09, 2003, 12:49 PM: Message edited by: PunkPrincess ]

Um...I hear Michael Anthony tends to "appear" at the shows!
Might just be another "unconfirmed" rumor, y'know. ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)
