It's a busy weekend for our boys. On Friday, June 26th, the Punks hit the confines of Hollywood Park. This legendary horse racing track is playing host to the Atomic Punks as they rock out the classic tunes of early Van Halen. This is a first time appearance for the boys and they are anxious to put on a performance that won't soon be forgotten. Details follow...

Then the next day the band takes flight to Minnesota to perform and G.B. Leighton's Pickle Park located in Fridley, MN. What makes this date special is that 5150 is opening for the Punks! That's right! Its another Best of Both Worlds night! You'll get the best of the Sammy Van "Hagar" era of Van Halen, along with the classic early tunes of the DLR era of Van Halen. It's a rare occasion when both bands perform on the same night which makes this is a show you'd regret missing.

This Saturday, Moving Pictures a tribute to Rush will be performing at Fantasy Springs Resort & Casino June 20th. Make it a point to see the best tribute there is to Rush this Saturday. As you may already know, Moving Pictures consist on two members of the Atomic Punks...drummer Scott Patterson, and guitarist Lance Turner. As Punks fans you are aware of how talented these two players are, and their recreation of Rush is just as good! We'll see you there!

::. 06.01.09 - Atomic Punks invade Arizona this weekend with 2 shows! FRI & SAT!!
Friday, June 5th, The Rialto Theatre welcomes the Atomic Punks to their stage for the first time ever. It's been a long time coming but the boys are finally going to deliver to Tucson what they've been asking for. Classic David Lee Roth era Van Halen played better than anyone. The band is anxious to rock out with all their friends. We'll see you there this Friday, June 5th!

They follow that with a show on Saturday, June 6th at The Marquee Theatre located in Tempe, Az. This has been an Atomic Punks favorite in Arizona for years and this will be the bands first show there in 2009!
