I've seen Metal Shop do the song "Jump" many times but have never seen the Atomic Punks do it. Does anyone know why? Jump is the best Van Halen song and the Punks sould add it to their set.

Well that one's up for debate. Better than Unchained?? On Fire?? etc. etc. etc. I personally can do without it, never been a big fan of that tune.

Hey metalskoolgirl I have seen them perform "jump"at Kosmos in Huntington beach and it was very cool despite the fact that it's my least favorite Van Halen tune. They brought out a keyboard player and did a great job of it.They also played "out of love" that night which was amazing!Looking forward to their House of Blues shows coming up.

Yes, I was at Kozmo's that night as well * waves at Johnny G * I was going to post this yesterday, but then I started to second guess myself... Blame it on the excess work, I should have known I was in the right.

It may be because with Metal Skool they use tracks and the Punks don't. I've only known the Punks to do "Jump" when the've had someone to play keyboards. That's just my thoughts...don't know for sure, though. :-) [ June 22, 2004, 02:23 PM: Message edited by: playtone ]

We're lazy, that's all. No need to hook up a sampler for one song, kind of a pain in the ass. I know it's popular, but that song is in the realm of You Really Got Me and Ain't Talkin' Bout Love. Enough already...

Yawn....lazy ass.
Actually...I would bet my bottom dollar...take a straw poll. Most guys could live without Jump, and most girls would request it.
So...my answer would be...Do ya wanna get laid, Joe?

I know most people are sick of "Jump", but it's still a cool tune. Now, if you guys start playing "When it's Love"...oh my god. I can't believe Van Halen, on their current tour, are closing every show with that number. They must all need to get laid pretty badly. I guess they have been out of the limelight for quite some time.

See Joe....Just get one of those Casio keyboards...learn a few notes to open Jump. Then not only will you be the Hot Bass player in the green jumpsuit, but you will also pick up the chicks hot for the keyboard player.
You'll be like Wrigley's Gum...Double your pleasure.
