The Atomic Punks will play their last show of 2004 at the Universal CityWalk in Universal City on Thursday, December 30th.

The band will be playing on a stage in front of the Hard Rock restaurant, and the Cineplex. It's a little unclear when the band will go on, but we think it's a good idea to plan to get there by 8:00 PM just to be safe. There is no charge for this show.

The band wishes to take this time to thank everyone for another great year, and look forward to seeing everyone out there in 2005 for more classic Van Halen!

For more detailed information on this remaining 2004 show, click the link below to the band's calendar.

This isn't a Rain or Shine event. If it's raining I assume the band will not perform. That would suck, however rain is expected. SIGH!

Night:
Showers Late
Lo: 51°F
Wind:From the South Southeast at 4 mph
Chance of Precip: 50 %
Max Humidity: 85 %

I really hope it doesn't rain. I'm coming from Ventura, which isn't that bad of a drive, but I would just hate getting excited to see a Punks show and then have Mother Nature fuck it up. Will it be posted here if they decide to cancel because of rain?

I don't work far from Universal, but I'd hate for the last Punks show of the year to get rained out.

I have to cap my year with the PUNKS!!!

Thanks for the update Joe. I'll check back at about 4. I'll be so bummed out if I have to wait another 23 days before seeing the Punks again. Mother Nature's been a real snatch lately.....first the tsunamis in Asia and now this.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...1984Rocks I think the Tsunami in Asia may be more of a bummer than if the Punks dont play the "City Walk" tonight, call me Kookie but i got a feeling that might have bummed a few more people out.

How did I know someone would take what I said the wrong way? I didn't say it was more of a bummer that I was missing the Punks. The situation in Asia is catastrophic and I by no means meant to discount that. Sorry if I offended anyone. My point is just this: i really hope the Punks play tonight. That's all.

So...? Any news? Is it on? Off? Medium high heat? What?

Heading to the show right now, we haven't been cancelled yet, but it doesn't look good outside to me. It's either going to rain during or after the show, but it looks like it's coming. We are on as far as we know.
