Topic: Punks in San Diego, Update on Saturday Show!

This week the Punks only have one show scheduled (more on that below), at Canes Bar & Grill in San Diego, on Friday, June 4th.
Tickets for Friday's show at Canes are $10 at the door, and you must be 21 or older to enter. The doors open at 8:00 PM. Also playing with the Punks is Scott and Russ' tribute to Rush, Moving Pictures. You don't want to miss a chance to see Scott and Russ perform Rush tunes, it's a incredible top-notch tribute. So plan to get there early so you're sure to see both bands!
As for Saturday's show at the Stardust Lounge in Downey....well here's the story on that. This show was booked back in February after a guy named EDDIE SOLIS called Scott, inquiring about the band's availability for June. Everything sounded good. Contracts were sent, as a professional band like the Punks always do, and Scott has been trying to get a hold of this moron for months now to confirm everything. So finally this loser, EDDIE SOLIS, calls Scott back today and tells him the show is off, and gives a bunch of BS excuses.
So now the band is out of a show this weekend, all because this complete douchebag lied to Scott, and didn't have the professionalism to tell them months ago so they could have booked another show. So if you are in a band and ever get a call from a schmuck named EDDIE SOLIS, just hang up the phone! This guy is a liar and a creep. BTW, if you want to call the Stardust Lounge and complain about this tool, feel free. Their number is 562.928.5503.
With that said, the band is very excited to be back at Canes this Friday and is looking forward to putting on a killer show for all the classic Van Halen fans out there. More detailed information can be found by following the band's show calendar link below.

Yeah I was in a band a couple of years ago that was booked to play the Stardust in Downey and Mr.Fuckhead Eddie Solis booked us for the same night and time slot as another band,of course he was not there to straighten things so we pretty much had had to muscle our way in and tell the other band to take a hike.Yeah looking back on it,it sucked having to do that,but we were gonna play no matter what and since that asshole wasnt around to take care of buisness we did.That place sucks and thats the way they run buisness,I think the Punks are way too good to play that dump.It would have been nice to see them so close to home but thats what you get with Eddie Assholis.See you guys at the HOB soon.

Wow Solis did this same deal to my band wonder why they continue to do business with. we took over and booked ourselves at the stardust july 30 11pm looking forwward to catching the punx soon you guys kick
