I don't impress easily, but I have to tell you, the Atomic Punks blew me away last night at the Turning Stone Casino in Verona NY. What an impressive, authentic tribute from four true artists. Several guys from Peter Frampton's crew came in (I only knew because they had official laminated passes on lanyards) and they had their fists pounding in the air and were singing right along. If you ever get the chance to see this band, go!

Always been a bigger fan of Van Halen over Van Hagar (but still love Sammy). Saw two VH shows with David Lee and thought it would be good idea to check out the Atomic Punks. We were wowed. They played great and we had an oustanding time. Next time they come back to Penn's Peak, we will be back. They ended the set with some VH II DOA and Doctor..........nice touch!

The Houston show kicked ass. The sound guys were real pros so the music sounded great. Good vibe in the club and even though the place wasn't packed, they had a very strong showing for not playing in Texas for years. Lance shredded like a wild man. Ricky was being the most realistic DLR out there. I liked joe's playing with the teeth for " Running with the Devil". Scott was a animal on the drums. Great show guys. Houston loved ya'll!

Atomic Punks at The House Of Blues here in Houston Texas tonight had a very lively and loud crowd. The Music was loud, rocking and full of the Classic David Lee Roth, Eddie Van Halen style of Van Halen that made them famous. Atomic Punks Took the stage with a great mix of Van Halen's early songs with Ricky Singing to the audience with that Roth sex appeal and Lance's guitar solos totally captivating the audience. Scott's drum solo had a driven wild energy that kept us all excited and on the edge of our seats. Joe had the ladies drawn to his bass beats and wanting to climb on stage. The band performs a tribute to Van Halen that puts them at the top of their genre. Fantastic! I loved and I will buy tickets the next time they are in town!

Been following the Punks since 1998 when they played the HOB in Hollywood. Saw them recently in Folsom with Ricky Mccoy as the new lead singer and was once again taken back to the David Lee Roth era Van Halen. Absolutely blew everyone away as he had the crowd in the palm of his hands. It's great to know that the Punks will continue to take us back to a time when music was fun and it was all about just having a great time. Keep it up guys!

I was at the Power House Pub last Saturday night to meet up with someone, not even knowing you where playing there, nor had I ever heard of you. BUT you guys fricken rocked man. Playing all of the old school VH tracks.
I enjoyed the show, and being a drummer myself, give props to the man on the throne with his double kick drum work. (Although tell him to smile a bit and look like he's enjoying himself,haha)

Sounds repetitive but you, gentlemen... freakin' ROCK! That was an ass kickin' show @ OC Tavern the other week! I didn't know what to expect with the Ricky, but he didn't disappoint in any way, shape, or form at all! The Punks rocked Minnesota. A packed house (along with some especially friendly ladies up front) welcomed the band on a cold February night. Great set list and convincing performance from new lead singer "Rockin" Ricky M'Coy. This guy walked on stage and channeled Diamond Dave right down to the tiger-stripe pants.
Hope these guys come back around before summer. Don't miss them if they are in your town.

My wife and I went for the Valentines Day show and had such a good time yelling and jumping around, it was a great set. I was very impressed with the 2-14-09 Atomic Punks performance in Bakersfield. Lance Turner captured the audiences attention with his rockin solo. It was great to see how the band interacted with the crowd. Super show!
